I used a certified check and applied through the snail-mail so I'm not sure about the refund proceedure for credit app's, but I did receive my refund yesturday.

They most definitely charged my CC. By the time I got around to applying, I did not want to take a chance on the mail, so bit the bullet for the 3%. Don't they charge interest on those CC checks from the date issued along with a % minimum fee?

Steve, It was kind of tongue in cheek saying I beat them. Yeah, I did get a service charge on the check but I'm still ahead by a little so far. Depends on how long I wait for the refund. There is no beating the system. Part of the cost of treating the symptoms of sheep fever, I guess.
