North Dakata applications for their California Bighorn tags are due March 17. Only one non-resident may be drawn and there are no guaranteed non-resident tags (you are in the pool with the residents). A total of only three licenses/tags are available this year (in addition to the auction license which will be auctioned at the MN-WI FNAWS gig on 3/20/04). You can apply via the Internet or by mail. Game and Fish Reports Bighorn Sheep Harvests for 2003

All four North Dakota bighorn sheep hunters filled their tags this year, according to statistics compiled by the State Game and Fish Department.

One bighorn sheep unit was open in 2003. Four licenses were issued in Unit B4 and all hunters tagged adult rams. Unit B4 is portions of Billings, Dunn, Golden Valley, McKenzie and Stark counties.
