Does anyone have any info on the sheep in area 5? I am an experience mtn animal killer so I know the basics as I have killed dalls, stone and a goat that I hiked into the collegiate peaks in colorado and killed and packed out myself. I am thinking of hunting the needle creek area in 5 does anyone know that drainage? thanks
Hello Buck. Congrats on the Wyoming Tag! Cort comes with our highest recommendations. I can think of at least three of our members who have hunted with Cort. Mike Ville, Greg Dixon and Dennis Campbell have all had successful hunts with him. You can call us to get complete references (205)674-0101. Unfortunately, I don't have any info on the exact area you are going to hunt. Maybe another member can help.
It looks like you've teamed up with one of the finest outfitters in the best area of Wyoming. Hope you kill a dandy! Cort is on my short list when I finally draw in Wyoming (1 less than max on points).

The Wyoming bighorn sheep guru is Kevin Hurley, Wyoming Game & Fish. He's based in Cody now. His office phone number is: 307-527-7125.
If you can make it out to Sheridan, Wyoming on Saturday the 10th of June, Kevin and many of the most knowledgeable sheep people in the state will be at the annual Wyoming Chapter FNAWS function being held there. Details are at: http://www.wyomingfnaws.org/events.html

thanks 1/2 slam I had max pts and from what I have heard there are not many of us left with max pts so in a year or so you should be in the top point list for wyoming
thank you ramdreamer I already have tried to contact Kevin but he is out of the country on some trip until after memorial day. I plan on coming to wyoming around the 1st week of august and scouting with my son. He is like a good luck charm, a very lucky kid. I have been told by several guides, game wardens, etc that if I see a 160 plus ram I like I should pull the trigger as there are many rams but very few that will go 170. I will let you guys know how I do.
