The Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society if raffling off a 14 Day Alberta Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep guided hunt to celebrate the Society's 30th Anniversary this year and raise needed funds for their wild sheep conservation work in Colorado. The winner will pick the dates of the hunt, in coordination with the outfitter, for between September 1 and October 15 of 2006. The hunt is with Lorne & Sharmane Hindbo of South Ram Outfitters (P.O. Only 1000 tickets will be sold. The drawing will take place at 9:00 p.m. Mountain time on Thursday, December 1st, 2005 - at the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society's board of directors meeting which will be held at the Colorado Division of Wildlife’s Hunter Education Building, 6060 Broadway in Denver, Colorado. The winner will be posted on the Society’s website as soon after the drawing as possible.

Tickets are only $25 each and you may purchase as many tickets as you desire.

For tickets, send your check or money order (sorry, Colorado state law prohibits use of credit cards to buy raffle tickets) along with a self addressed & stamped envelope to:

The winner was drawn tonight as scheduled. That winner is Mark Hodges from Hotchkiss, Colorado. His father bought the ticket for him and Mark didn't even know it until the call was made this evening to inform him of his incredible luck.

Thanks to everyone that supported the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society in this endeavor! The raffle sold out in the last week with many last minute ticket orders not being able to be fulfilled.
