Raffle tickets for the 2007 Alberta Minister’s Special Sheep Permit

Alberta Minister’s Special Sheep Permit:
“Is authorized to hunt one minimum 4/5 curl Trophy Sheep, in accordance with all provisions of the Wildlife Act and Wildlife Regulation. This special license is valid during open hunting seasons in all locations having an open season to hunt, including a special license trophy sheep draw season. If a season is archery only, then only archery equipment may be used. The license is also valid:
From November 1 to December 15, 2007 in wildlife management units 302;303;306;308;326;328;400-406’412-437;439-446
From December 1 to December 15 in wildlife management units 408 and 438
From November 1 to November 30 in that portion of WMU 408 that is east of Highway 40
Hunting is not allowed in any Wildlife Sanctuary, Park, Ecological Reserve, Recreation Area or any restricted area for hunting sheep or any other restricted area where sheep hunting would be prohibited as set out in the 2007 Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations and a harvested Trophy sheep must be registered in person.

Tickets are $10.00 each and there are 7500 tickets printed. The draw will take place on Friday August 24, 2007 at the Calgary Firearms Centre in DeWinton, Alberta. Only Alberta residents are eligible to purchase these tickets.

Tickets are available until the draw date of August 24, 2007 and may be purchased from a variety of sources, including the Alberta Hunter Education Offices in Calgary, Edmonton and Alford Lake, the Hunting For Tomorrow Office and from various volunteers across the Province.
