Can anyone reccommend a good outfitter for Bihorns in Montana? Instead of using a service to reccommend units, my plan is to pick out a decent outfitter in each state and go with his picks. The only state I am lacking is Montana. Don't see any listed in GSC Mag, so I was hoping some of you guys would let me know of a couple good ones to check out. Thanks.

Zack,

How do I get that HUGE picture off my posts???

I don't want that baby showing up every time I have something to say!

Steve,
Why don't you try Jack Atcheson Jr.? That's his backyard. His contact info and website link are under "Worldwide" on the Grand Slam outfitters listing on this site.

Hey Steve,

What picture are you talking about? For some darn reason my computer will not allow me to see it. Help.

I may be mistaken, but I was under the impression that Jack Atcheson, Jr. was not actively guiding anymore. I could be dead wrong on this, and regardless of whether he is or not, I still think he would be the right person to call. His track record speaks for itself. He would know the current "who's who" in Montana.

The only ones I know of that specialize in big rams are Tim Magness and John Lewton. Again, their records and resumes are impressive.

My draw choice method is probably less scientific than yours, I am just hoping to draw and then worry about it! That would be a great problem to have.

By the way, you hunted with Blackstone the same year I did. What a great place. I have stayed in touch with Jim and Adrienne (re-booked) and have commented about the beauty of your ram. What color! They said some really nice things about you.

Hope this helped- HM

Hugh,

I am seeing the picture that is in my profile. It takes up the whole screen on my post here with about 2-3 words next to it for the full length of it. I do love looking at the ram, but don't want to be shoving down everybody's throat that opens this topic. Maybe it is just my computer? If you want to see it, just click on my name and view my profile. That is my ram from Blackstone. I actually talked to Jim yesterday. They did very well on wolves this spring and are building a couple cabins way in. They are great people. I am saving up to go back in 2007, but he won't take a deposit until we get closer. I guess I should have thought of John Lewton.

Brenton, I'll give the Atchenson's a call too. I guess it was a matter of not seeing the forest thru the trees. Well at least I got a little action on the ol' board here.

If you all are seeing what I'm seeing with the big picture of my ram, I apologize, it was not there the other day when I posted.
