I received my 2005 Wyoming Nonresident hunting info and application booklet in the mail earlier this week.

The Bighorn sheep license application period is January 1 - February 28, 2005.

"Tentative Draw Date" given is May 1, 2005 with a "Drawing Results Available" date of May 8, 2005.

Amount to remit this year is $1,913.00 which includes a nonrefundable $12.00 application fee. You may apply for a preference point only, for $7.00, instead of going for the license. Personal checks are accepted either way you choose to go.

The Wyoming Game and Fish website is: http://gf.state.wy.us

MNHunter,

No. I went the "point only" route this year due to my back concerns. I had surgery last week and it will be about 12 weeks of recovery. Not much time to get ready for the Wyoming season if I had drawn.

What about you?

RamDreamer,
I went "points only" as well. I haven't built up my application fund enough to send Wyoming the cash. Good luck on the recovery.
