My sister and her husband are going to Banff in two weeks. They were hoping to see some Bighorns. Can anybody give me some directions to where they might have a chance? They heard something about Radium Hot Springs?

I live in Calgary so quite often we get to Banff. The most reliable place to see sheep is to go from Banff toward Lake Minnewanka then follow the loop around by Jack Lake. More often than no there will be sheep, I have taken more pictures of sheep than I can figure out why including of some awesome rams. There are often a lot of elk to see as well. The drive toward Lake Louise, Radium or especially up toward Jasper is beautiful and at times you will see sheep, elk and bear but not as consistently. It is a beautiful area, I am sure they will have a great time.
