I would like to report that Donald Cox of Michigan has become the first person ever to complete the Capra World Slam Super 30. He now has every animal on the Capra list except two of the Markhors. He is an amazing man.

At age 83 he traveled to Romania in November 2003 to get the Carpathian Chamois. Then in early December 2003 he went to Pakistan for the Sindh ibex and Himalayan ibex. He got them both and even took another Blanford urial to boot.

My hat is off to this amazing person and an amazing feat.DC

I met Don at the Conklin Foundation Dinner at FNAWS, and yes, you are right, he is truly amazing. He was also very gracious and unassuming for all that he has accomplished in our sport. I wish everyone linked to Sheep and Goat hunting have a chance to meet this living legend.
