The Grand Slam Club/Ovis board of directors voted unanimously today to commit $10,000 to Montana FNAWS for a land conservation easement project in the Whiskey Ridge area near Winifred, Montana.

The Montana Chapter of FNAWS is leading this important effort to protect over 4,000 acres of prime sheep habitat while providing access to an additional 13,000 acres of public land. Approximately one-third of the 350 bighorns surveyed by Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks in district 482 haven been located within the subject area.
