Good to see a forum for sheep hunters! On Dec. 4th I scored on a ram in the Las Vegas Range. I hunted 16 days total, finally tagging out after hiring Roy Lerg as my guide. Can't begin to say enough good things about Mr. Lerg! I'd follow him up any sheep mountain. I blew an easy shot at a 160 class ram on day 12, but Roy hung in there with me. The ram I killed was 5.5 years old, 14.5" bases, and 29" length. It's hard to imagine any ram meaning more to me than this one. I feel like I'm the luckiest guy around. If anyone knows how to post pictures I can e-mail a scanned copy to them. Can't wait to sheep hunt again in 2004 (just know there's a Rocky permit with my name on it).

Congratulations on your desert bighorn! What an accomplishment! I sent an e-mail to the admin here and I'm sure he'll be able to help you post pictures - he helped me post a friends pics as well. Keep those fingers crossed for a Rocky next year!
