In case you havn't heard, the California chapter FNAWS will have two desert sheep tags avilable at their annual banquet February 5, 2005. One will again be a Tiburon Island tag and another desert tag will be awarded subject to DFG Commission approval based upon a sheep survey project funded by the CAFNAWS of the White Mountains. This is a new hunt area and has some very mature rams with great trophy potential. Also, an Alaska Dall's sheep tag in Unit 14C and an Alaska brown bear hunt on Unimak Island will be offered.
