The drawing application deadline will be 5:00 p.m. on June 2nd, 2009. Hardcopy application must be received by the California Department of Fish and Game by that time, no "postmarks" and no on-line applications.

The 2009 California Hunting Digest for Big Game will be able to be viewed, downloaded and/or printed from: http://www.dfg.ca.gov/publications/digest/ (It appears the booklet is loaded and ready to go, but public access will probably not be enabled until after the April 21st California Fish & Game Commission meeting when these regulations would be officially adopted.)

Note that, in addition to the public draw tags, there are two auction tags this year. One has already been auctioned and sold for $50K. The remaining one will be auctioned at the California Chapter - Foundation for North American Wild Sheep fundraiser on Saturday night, May 2nd, in Sacramento, California. (www.cafnaws.org)
