Nelson Bighorn Sheep Hunt Zones / SUGGESTED Tag Allocation for 2006
Zone 1 - Marble/Clipper Mountains = 4 (up from 3 in 2005)
Zone 2 - Kelso Peak/Old Dad Mountains = 4 (same as 2005)
Zone 3 - Clark/Kingston Mountain Ranges = 1 (up from 1 in 2005)
Zone 4 - Orocopia Mountains = 0 (same as 2005, which was down from 1 in 2004)
Zone 5 - San Gorgonio Wilderness = 1 (same as 2005, which was down from 2 in 2004)
Zone 6 - Sheep Hole Mountains = 2 (same as 2005, which was up from 1 in 2004)
Zone 7 - White Mountains = 3 (same as 2005)


Note that the drawing application deadline for this year is Friday, June 2nd.

Beginning June 26, 2006, draw results will be available by phone during regular business hours from DFG license sales offices. On that date applicants may also look up draw results on the DFG’s Web site at: www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/hunting/hunting.html

California posted their draw results a week early.
