The Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society (ADBSS) is conducting a fund-raising raffle consisting of three fully-outfitted sheep hunts. The Stone Sheep Hunt is for 15 days, the California Bighorn Hunt is for 14 days and the Dall Sheep Hunt is for 10 days. All hunts are for 2007.

1 Stone, 1 California Bighorn & 1 Dall Sheep Hunt and $1,000 for each winner
1st Place: Stone, California Bighorn or Dall Sheep Hunt + $1,000 CASH
2nd Place: Choice of 2 Remaining Sheep Hunts + $1,000 CASH
3rd Place: Sheep Hunt + $1,000 CASH

Stone is with Simpson Stone Sheep, Inc.
California Bighorn is with Ambler's Bighorn Country Guiding, Ltd.
Dall is with Arctic Red River Outfitting, Ltd.

Drawing procedures and outfitter selection -
1. Drawing will be March 4, 2006 at the ADBSS Annual Fund Raising Banquet. Winners need not be present to win.
2. Three winning tickets will be drawn and the winners will be announced.
3. Multiple ticket buyers have the opportunity to win one, two or three hunts.
4. ADBSS will notify each outfitter of three winners.
5. ADBSS will notify each winner by telephone and in writing.
6. The first winner will have 10 days to select an outfitter from the three participating outfitters.
7. The second winner will then be notified and have 10 days to make a selection from the two remaining outfitters.
8. The third winner will then be notified as the outfitter for his/her hunt.
9. Each winner must notify ADBSS by telephone and in writing of the outfitter selected.
10. After the winners have notified the ADBSS of their hunt choice, the ADBSS will notify each outfitter in writing.
11. Once the outfitters have been officially notified by the ADBSS, it is the winners' responsibility to make all arrangements with the outfitters.
12. Each winner will receive a fully outfitted sheep hunt and $1,000.00
13. These hunts can be transferred.

I don't know of any other results, but due to working the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society banquet with it's president, John Legnard, I know that John was drawn as the third winner in this raffle last night. I think you could have heard him yelling from miles away when he got the phone call advising him of his great luck.
