Hi there, I am new to the boards. My step father was an avid sheep hunter in the 70's and 80's. He collected many books in his day and recently gave me 2 books to sell for him. I cannot find any real information on either of the books to help price them. The first book is called "Hunting and Guiding For Desert Bighorn Sheep" by Bob Houshholder self published in 1968, it is a blue hardcover in mint condition, it is also number 75 out of 500.
The second book is titled "Grand Slam of North American Wild Sheep" Edited by Bob Housholder, this book is signed by 2 of the authors Lloyd Zeman of Iowa and Dr. Roy A. Schultz also of Iowa. This edition is a second printing from May 1974. This book is also a blue hardback in mint condition.
Could you please give me an idea of both of the books and where is the best place to sell them? Any suggestions would help. You may email me at mwgrodi@yahoo.com if you wish to send me a private email in regards to these books or want me to send you some pics of them. Thank you all in advance for any help you can give me as to the history and value of these books.

do you still have the books?

I am not a collector, but if you've been unable to move them, I'd be interested.

A little bit of research came up with the below pricing:

Hunting and Guiding For Desert Bighorn Sheep = $135. (for: Book Description: 1989. Book Condition: Fine. D.J. #321 of 500 copies. Outstanding photos and good information, make this a must book. this is the updated expanded version of the original.)

Grand Slam of North American Wild Sheep = Anywhere from $75 to $185 (depending on condition, edition, etc.)
