I received an email extra from Don Causey's "The Hunting Report" last week stating Nepal had re-opened its hunting program for 2007. Main animals of interest appear to be Blue Sheep and, of course, Himalayan Tahr. Rates appeared to very reasonable licenses and fees.
I don't have any further information, but to direct those interested to Causey's website:
You must be a member or pay for the service. There was some armed conflict in 2006, but according to the information received, things had calmed at present.
As always, perform your due diligence, check the with the State Department and US FWS on their recommendations and/or restrictions.
