Well I received my application and regulations and if I'm reading this right if I mail it in it will cost me $3166.00 plus $6.00 application fee and if I do it on-line it's only $6.00. That sounds good to me but am I reading this right?
Next, if I'm correct I do not need to sign a contract with a guide if I'm only applying for sheep. Does that sound right? If so I am in as soon as I can! Course I guess it's pretty bad odds at drawing a tag but hey you never know right? Thanks again. Joe

That's right - you never know. I drew the Desert Bighorn tag there in 2004.

You are correct in your assessments. Mail in and put all the $ up front or go on-line and it's only $6. (Just be sure that the credit card you use is still valid when the draw is held in late June / early July and that said credit card can take the full $ hit if you do draw.) You may mix Desert and Rocky on your single bighorn application (multiple choices in decending order of preference).

No guide contract needed. It doesn't help you in the draw at all and it's not necessary to participate in the draw either.
