That desert ram is a hog!! Are they usually that big in NM or did you just get luckier and tag a monster? Those horns are huge! He's a real beauty. Anyhow congrats again!

Yes, that's me, Grand Slam # 1316 now. Thanks for the congrats! No photos unfortunately, long story. I'll post a photo of my mountain goat on that forum for you. I'm working on stories now. Hopefully I'll find more time now that my big game hunting for this fall is completed.

Yes, that desert ram is the largest taken to date by a hunter on a drawn tag in the state of New Mexico. All of the larger desert rams taken in NM have all been on auction tags. That could change this year, but I don't know who drew and if they'll be using guides or not. I had the best outfitting/guide team one could assemble working for me on that hunt (in my opinion). They had to work extra hard since I was hunting with a ruptured disc in my low back.
