Note that Bighorn Sheep info is on pages 43 & 44 (Oregon has both California and Rocky Mountain Bighorns). For residents, Rocky Mountain Goat info is on page 42 (non-residents may purchase Goat raffle tickets).

The big game drawing application deadline is May 15, 2005.

Tags and draw results are to be available June 20, 2005.

Auction and Raffle Tag information is on pages 27 & 28 of the 2005 Regulations, with the order form for raffle tickets being on page 28. The raffle tag winner will be drawn at the Oregon Hunters Association Convention to be held June 4, 2005 in Seaside, Oregon at the Seaside Convention Center.

• MAIL ORDER/FAX TICKET ORDERS MUST BE RECEIVED AT ADDRESS BELOW BY MAY 20, 2005
• COMPLETED TICKETS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN MAY 28, 2005 OR THEY MAY BE HAND DELIVERED TO THE ODFW SALEM HEADQUARTERS OFFICE BY 5:00 P.M. JUNE 2, 2005, OR HAND DELIVERED TO THE CONVENTION ON JUNE 4, 2005 BY 7:00 P.M.


The auction tag brought $130,000 at the FNAWS convention in San Antonio, TX the first weekend in March...

For everyone else, now is the time to buy tickets for the Rocky Mtn. raffle in Washington. Go to http://www.wafnaws.com and download the application. Ticket sales are a little slow so odds are good! I will be chasing rumors of a nice band of rams so hopefully I will have some pictures to post in the next week or two.

Looks like folks have been bugging Oregon about draw results. This note on the home page of their website showed up in the last couple of days: Big game draw results will not be available online until Monday, June 20th.


A big "draw" week is coming up next week. Oregon is to post on Monday, New Mexico is to post by Wednesday and California is to post on Friday.

Althought their website says that they won't post the draw results until Monday, 6/20/05, Oregon's 2005 big game draw results actually are available on-line at: https://www.dfw.state.or.us/ODFWhtml/ControlledHunts/DrawQuery/drawquery.html

You will need to know your 2005 Oregon hunting license number in order to obtain draw results.
