Taking a look at the Arizona Spring 2007 Draw information gives an indictation of what to expect when the Fall 2007 Draw information comes out...
You can find the "2007 Spring Hunting Regulation Supplement" at: http://www.azgfd.gov/h_f/documents/2007SpringHuntSupplement.pdf Go to the 3rd page of that supplement (actually marked as Page 1) to see the application procedure - it's also pasted below: Hunt permit applications for Spring 2007 hunts can be submitted by mail or at any department office. Deadline to submit all applications is Oct. 10, 2006 at 7 p.m. (MST). Spring hunt permit-tags may be obtained only through application and drawing procedures prescribed in R12-4-104 or R12-4-114. You must obtain a 2007 license in order to participate in the draw. If you are not licensed at the time you submit your hunt permit application form, you must apply for a license and include payment at the time you submit your paper hunt application form. NOTE: If not licensed, you must apply for and include fees with each application you submit. If you apply for more than one genus, only one license will be issued in your name. Enter your Social Security number and Department I.D. Number (if different from your Social Security number) on the hunt application form. This is your permanent number and is to be used on all hunt applications. It may be preferable to use your Social Security number so that you can remember it from year to year. Your S.S./I.D. number is vital to track your bonus points and to ensure that you receive the proper credits. Using a different number may result in your not receiving proper bonus points credits. An I.D. Number may be obtained by calling the department during business hours at (602) 942-3000 if you do not wish to use your Social Security number as your Department I.D. You must sign the application. Each application must include appropriate payment. NOTE: If the same person is applying for a juniors-only hunt and a regular hunt on the same application, the higher of the tag fees must be enclosed. Each payment enclosed with a paper hunt permit-tag application shall be made by certified check, cashier’s check, money order, or personal check in U.S. currency only, payable to the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Cash will not be accepted. One personal check or money order can cover all required fees for the application. The department will notify you of errors in your application and allow you to correct those errors or re-submit your application, only if the application is received in department offices by 5 p.m. (MST) on Sept. 22, 2006. If you wish to participate in this service, please list a telephone number where you can be reached. You are not required to enter your telephone number. The 4th page, marked page 2, has this news to budget for: Hunt Permit-tag and License Fee Information The fees listed on this page are valid for the 2007 hunts. Prices shown include $7.50 application fee for Hunt Permit-tags. General Hunting (Class G) $32.25 (RESIDENT) $151.25 (NON-RESIDENT) Bighorn Sheep Hunt Permit-tag $272.50 (RESIDENT) $1,407.50 (NON-RESIDENT) The application form can be found at: http://www.azgfd.gov/pdfs/h_f/GenericApplicationv2.pdf You will notice on that application form that: "No license refund will be issued if you are not drawn." |
