Utah residents have until 11:00 p.m. (Mountain time) on Wednesday, 11/16/05, to get in on the 2006 Utah Resident Sportsman Permit drawing.

One Sportsman Permit is offered for a Desert Bighorn ram , as well as one for a Rocky Mountain Bighorn ram, in this drawing.

These 2006 Sportsman Permit hunt runs September 1 through December 31, 2006. Hunters may hunt on any unit open for the respective species, except the Virgin River unit for Desert Bighorn.

You must pay a nonrefundable handling fee of $5 per species to enter the drawing. The $508 fee for the tag will be collected from the successful applicant.

The drawing results posting date is scheduled to be 12/7/05. Successful applicants will also be notified by letter.
