Fannin Sheep ?'s

I've heard rumors that there have been Fannin sheep taken here in Alaska. I just haven't been able to find out what areas they've come from. I think it has to be Alaska Range East???
Also, what MAKES it a Fannin? How much dark hair does a ram need for it to be considered a fannin? Thanks for any information you might be able to share.

I have seen two taken out of the Lake Clark Nat. Park by a resident subsistance hunter. I have also heard of one being harvested in a small belt of mountains along the Canadian border. I didn't see it though, so I am unsure if it was a Fannin. You'll have to hope someone else will answer the classification question. As I am unsure the exact amount that is required.
