The wild sheep drawing information is not yet available as this is posted, except for this blurb on the drawings page of the Arizona Game and Fish website (at http://www.azgfd.gov/eservices/draw.shtml):
Fall Draw Information The next deadline day for the submission of hunt permit-tag applications for fall 2008 hunts for deer, turkey, javelina bighorn sheep, buffalo should be Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Check back to this web site for updated information. A bit of the raffle information appears in Arizona's 2008 Pronghorn Antelope and Elk Hunt Draw Information booklet. I'll paraphrase it here: Arizona Big Game Super Raffle Various state and national sportsmen’s groups have put together a raffle for one of each of nine big game species in Arizona. The nonresident mail-in order form, to obtain a 2008 Arizona hunting or combination hunting & fishing license is now available for download and/or printing. You may also order a hardcopy of the hunt regulations with this form. You'll need to pay a "postage & handling fee" in order to get the hardcopy of the regs.
From: http://www.azgfd.gov/eservices/licenses.shtml Nonresident Hunt-Fish License, Regulation Order Form Nonresidents can download this form to mail order for hunting and fishing licenses, hunting regulations, special use stamps, and nonpermit hunt tags. Residents can use this form too, but may find it easier to obtain these items at Department offices and more than 300 license dealers statewide. - Nonresident Order Form [http://www.azgfd.gov/eservices/documents/2008NonresidentMailoutLetter.pdf] FYI - Ordering the license in advance enables you to avoid having to send in money for a license with each and every application that you send in. You will have to buy one anyway, so you might just want to order it now and get it taken care of. |
